Calculators
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. MileLedger does not send them to an application database. Downloading a comparison creates a CSV locally. Shared selection links contain vehicle IDs, not your prices or mileage.
Local preferences
If you use privacy settings, the browser stores your analytics choice and its timestamp under ml-consent. You can change that choice in the footer or clear browser storage. The site does not require an account.
Hosting
The hosting provider may process IP addresses, requests and operational logs to deliver and secure the site. A private preview may require the provider's sign-in. Those provider functions are separate from MileLedger's calculators.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics and advertising are off in this edition. An optional GA4 integration is prepared but only loads after an affirmative analytics choice if the publisher configures it. Advertising requires a separately implemented certified consent platform, vendor disclosure and policy review before activation; this simple settings panel is not an advertising CMP.
Contact and rights requests
Before public launch, the publisher must identify the responsible operator, its applicable contact details, actual retention practices and jurisdiction-specific disclosures. This preview policy must be updated to match the services actually enabled.
